1. Provider Uatcha is provided by Fernando José André Figueiras, based in Lisbon, Portugal ("Uatcha", "we"). Contact: [email protected] 2. Acceptance By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. 3. The Service Uatcha helps detect, warn about and/or block suspected scams using automated analysis (including AI), subject to device/platform capabilities and permissions you grant. No guarantee: detection is not 100% accurate; false positives/negatives may occur. The Service does not replace your judgment. 4. Eligibility You must be at least 16, or the minimum age required in your country to consent to online data processing; otherwise a parent/guardian must consent and supervise. 5. Account & security You are responsible for your account, device access, and all activity under your account, and for promptly notifying us of unauthorized use. 6. Permissions & communications The Service may require permissions (e.g., call/SMS/notifications). Depending on features you enable, it may process metadata and/or content of communications. You must only connect communications/accounts you are authorized to use and must not monitor others without lawful authorization/consent. Privacy Policy: https://uatcha.com/en/privacy 7. Subscriptions, billing, cancellations, refunds (Google Play only) Paid subscriptions are sold only through Google Play. Google handles pricing, taxes, billing/renewal, cancellations, and refunds (subject to Google Play rules and your statutory rights). Manage your subscription in your Google Play account. We cannot process Google Play payments or issue Google Play refunds directly. 8. EU/EEA/UK consumer rights Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights. Where applicable, EU rules on digital services (conformity and updates) apply. 9. Acceptable use You must not misuse the Service (illegal use, bypass security, reverse engineer except where permitted by law, harass others, abuse automation, share credentials, etc.). We may suspend/terminate for violations or risk. 10. IP We (and licensors) own the Service. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it. 11. Disclaimers The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted or detect all scams. This does not affect non-waivable rights. 12. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law: • we are not liable for indirect/consequential damages, loss of profits/revenue, loss of data, or business interruption; and • our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or €50 if you paid nothing), whichever is higher. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g., death/personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, intentional misconduct). 13. Indemnity (to the extent permitted by law) To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Uatcha against third-party claims arising from (i) your unlawful use of the Service, or (ii) your culpable breach of these Terms. This does not apply to the extent a claim results from an act or omission of Uatcha. 14. Changes & termination We may update the Service or these Terms and will provide reasonable notice of material changes. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend/terminate for violations/risk. 15. Governing law Consumers: you keep the mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
